Bernie Already Keeping Promises

Whenever I've seen videos of Bernie in front of crowds of tens of thousands all chanting his name, I have been struck by his reaction. Another candidate might have beamed and soaked up the adulation. Instead, he looks down. He looks thoughtful, even concerned. More often than not, he follows this up with something along the lines of:

This is not about me! This is about you!

Bernie's central message is that he cannot do this alone. He calls for a true Political Revolution, for a Movement which will not only elect him but back him up so he can  accomplish all that needs to be done to bring America back to greatness.

Bernie promises that he will use this Movement to bring the change we seek, and he is already doing it as Senator Sanders. He is not AWOL from his job in Washington and has introduced legislation calling for a $15 federal minimum wage.

Bernie is using his campaign email list to ask people to sign his petition supporting this minimum wage legislation.

Raise the Minimum Wage to $15 per hour

Millions of Americans are working for totally inadequate wages. We must ensure that no full-time worker lives in poverty. The current federal minimum wage is starvation pay and must become a living wage. We must increase it to $15 an hour over the next several years.
